Ookla: KPN once again has the best mobile network in 2023

In 2023, KPN’s mobile network again has the best coverage and highest speeds in the Netherlands. This is according to the latest analysis by Ookla. For the fourth year in a row, KPN has been named the best mobile network in the Netherlands.

In conducting its surveys, Ookla® compares the average performance of hundreds of thousands of users of the different Dutch mobile networks. Since 2020, KPN has come out on top in the test. The surveys look at the quality of mobile coverage and data speeds of users on different mobile networks. In the first six months of 2023, over 217,000 user tests were analyzed for this purpose.

KPN recorded the highest download and upload speeds during this period, at 136.12 Mbps and 21.45 Mbps respectively. Similarly, KPN also came out top in the test with 5G, averaging 175.54 Mbps down and 33.69 Mbps up. In terms of mobile coverage, KPN also came out on top, with a coverage score of 813 points. In another recent test, KPN’s mobile network was found to be the best in the world.
