KPN rewards fixed customers with double mobile data

Just one day after announcing the new Connect, Activate & Grow-strategy, KPN is showing that it’s not just about nice words. KPN is emphasizing its focus on customers, and it is already immediately visible. KPN is doubling all mobile data for customers who combine internet at home with a mobile subscription. Starting this month, you will no longer get 3, 12 or 20 GB, but 6, 24 or 40 GB of mobile data. In this way, KPN is rewarding existing customers who combine their services on the best fixed and mobile network in the Netherlands.

“We want to reward loyal customers. And what better way to do that than to let them enjoy even more of the outstanding services they already use every day”, says Robin Clements, CMO Consumer Market at KPN. “More data, and so also more data to share with the children, allowing everyone in the household to enjoy it to the full.”

In the run-up to KPN’s strategy update, existing customers have already been notified that they will soon get ‘more’ from KPN, which ensured that there has already been a lot of speculation about this great news. The upgrade to double data, which will take place from this month, will go unnoticed by customers; they don’t need to do anything themselves. They will receive an SMS informing them as soon as the doubling has taken effect. Existing customers who extend their services with a fixed or mobile connection, and new customers who combine KPN’s fixed and mobile subscriptions, will also benefit from this extra advantage later this month.

Customers who combine KPN’s internet at home and mobile telephony are already getting a great deal. If you have KPN Internet (& TV) for Home, you get up to €7,50 discount on every KPN Mobile subscription at your address. If you also subscribe to an entertainment service, such as Netflix, you get €5 entertainment discount every month. And if you combine internet, TV and mobile, then you get the Plus package with extra channels, films and series for free. The double data is on top of these discounts.
