KPN Football Friends Day with former international Siem de Jong a great success

Happy faces, having fun kicking a ball around and enjoying being the center of attention for a while. The KPN Football Friends Day was a great success.

The third KPN Football Friends Day took place on Sunday, October 22. Once again, everything on the KNVB Campus was completely geared towards this special day for young people with disabilities. The event is an initiative of Fonds Gehandicapten Sport and the KPN Mooiste Contact Fonds. 

Football Friends Day has just one goal: to make sure that young disabled people and their families have a day to remember. A day filled with football, sport, games and the color orange. Another highlight was the meet & greet with ex-international, ex-professional footballer Siem de Jong. A simulated press conference was organized for the young football fans to ask Siem as many questions as they wanted and have their photos taken with him.

This wonderful event was the result of collaboration between KPN, Fonds Gehandicaptensport and the many KPN employees who traveled to Zeist to volunteer for the KPN Mooiste Contact Fonds.
