ACM approves Youfone acquisition

KPN has got the green light for the acquisition of the Dutch activities of Youfone. The regulator, ACM, has just given its approval for this. Youfone already operates on the networks of KPN and is growing rapidly. More than 580,000 Youfone customers already make use of the best mobile and fixed networks in the Netherlands. Thanks to this acquisition, they can continue to do so.

With this acquisition KPN has strengthened its position in the mobile and broadband markets. In the years ahead, the aim for Youfone is to achieve further growth by pursuing the efficient business model that the company has successfully created. The Youfone organization will continue to operate independently within KPN to ensure that the current Youfone customers continue to enjoy the service they have come to expect.
