KPN introduces KPN Hussel: choice-free and flexible subscription
As from today, consumers and small business customers can combine all the telephone, internet and entertainment services in a single subscription of their choice with KPN Hussel. Many combinations are possible, so everyone can put together the subscription that fits their situation. The subscription can be altered if that situation changes. With this all-embracing subscription customers can get transparency and flexibility, as well as a discount, if they purchase several services.
Everyone is familiar with mobile and fixed internet and telephony, as well as TV, Spotify and Netflix. In recent years, FOX Sports and Videoland have made their presence felt and streaming service Disney+ was recently launched in the Netherlands. And Apple TV+ will be available as from November 1. It has emerged from research by KPN that because of the growing number of services, many consumers lose sight of the overall picture and want more flexibility in what they do and do not purchase.
Internet, mobile, TV, entertainment shuffled around to suit the customer
With KPN Hussel, customers can manage in a single subscription not only internet and telephony at home and on their mobile phone, but also TV, films, series and music from providers like Netflix and Spotify. Customers can order services individually or in a package and if they purchase several services, they get a discount. They can adjust their package monthly in accordance with their needs. Customers can also choose the internet speed that fits their situation.
New services - Unlimited data voor mobiel, Kids Sim and Tech Desk
Unlimited data voor mobiel has been added to the range, along with the Kids Sim and a technical helpdesk. Unlimited data voor mobiel is available in combination with a KPN Thuis subscription. Kids Sim is a separate subscription specially for children, with unlimited calls and SMSes and 1 GB of data. The new Tech Desk is an extra chargeable service, alongside the regular customer service, that helps customers connect all kinds of products to the internet. In addition to the new services, KPN Hussel still has the benefit of sharing MBs, free calls between specific numbers and a discount on a combination of fixed and mobile services.
A Hussel for everyone
Customers put together their own Hussel, taking only the services that they require. For example, millennials probably opt for Unlimited data voor mobiel and for Netflix but may not need traditional TV channels. So they do not have to pay for them either. Many older customers are still happy using their fixed phone line and have less of a need for unlimited mobile calls. Families with children can opt for the Kids Sim, which allows parents to share MBs from their own bundle with their children.
Hussel on the business front
The benefits of KPN Hussel are also available within KPN Kleinzakelijk. This makes it simple for the small business customer to put together a combination from among all KPN’s services, in such a way that the package matches the needs of the business. All of this still comes in combination with the 24/7 business helpdesk, business voicemail, Toestel Vervangservice (Phone Replacement Service) and a free installation with WiFi check – services that small businesses are accustomed to getting from KPN.
