KPN further expands security for SME customers

KPN is expanding its security portfolio for the SME sector with Censornet. From a single cloud security platform, organizations and their users get full protection against threats via e-mail, internet and cloud applications. It makes no difference where the data, applications or devices are located and whether users are in the office, at home or on the move. Using the platform, users can keep their security knowledge up to date with the built-in security awareness training courses.

“Now that hybrid working has become commonplace and employees want to be able to work whenever and wherever they like on devices they have brought with them, we are taking the next step with Censornet’s security solution”, says Boris van Beek, SME director at KPN. “These days, applications and data are stored in many different places, such as data centers and the cloud. With Censornet, entrepreneurs are able to work securely in various cloud or multi-cloud environments.”

“In partnership with KPN we are offering SMEs a security solution that has been simplified and integrated and we protect KPN’s customers from the ever-increasing number of cyber threats,” says Charles Milton, VP Alliances, Censornet. “Entrepreneurs are protected, regardless of where they are working and on what device. The biggest security risk is and always will be humans, so Censornet has coupled a security awareness training course to its platform. This ensures that a cybersecure culture is embedded in the organization. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with KPN.”

“We regard security a priority for our customers,” Van Beek adds. “By adding Censornet to KPN EEN MKB, we can offer entrepreneurs a modern, digital workstation that is always secure and that contributes to better business operations, even when employees are working away from the office”.

Entrepreneurs were already able to ensure a secure workstation via KPN. With the Extra Veilig Internet, for example, which protects entrepreneurs on the KPN network against unsafe websites that contain viruses, malware and ransomware. And also with Acronis Cyber Protect, a comprehensive back-up and online security that offers a positive solution if a hard disk crashes or a computer is stolen.

Censornet
KPN and Censornet, the British market leader in the domain of integrated cloud security, are working in partnership to give KPN’s SME customers the best possible protection against cyberthreats. In February 2022, KPN Ventures invested in Censornet to help the promising young company to grow more rapidly.

KPN is going to offer the Censornet technology via Business Partners. The Censornet technology has been integrated seamlessly into the KPN partner network so that customers can purchase it easily and then use it plug-and-play.
