KPN and Microsoft are joining forces for the digital transformation of business life

KPN and Microsoft Nederland are entering into a multi-year strategic partnership aimed at helping companies with their digital transformation. This will enable companies to better serve their end customers, organize operational processes more efficiently and allow for their employees to work together optimally.

Technology offers huge opportunities and possibilities. Key elements for making optimal use of these opportunities are the accelerated adoption of technology and retaining the right technical skills and expertise with trust as a precondition. In the strategic partnership between KPN and Microsoft, these elements are incorporated in three trajectories: internal organization, joint innovation, and, subsequently, joint customer advice.

Strategic instrument

Unburdening Customers
Technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and 5G will be the catalyst for the further digitalization of society and also offer opportunities to make life and work easier. The collaboration combines Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform with KPN’s services and network in order to offer companies connectivity and scalability. KPN is also offering support in the adoption of Microsoft solutions so that companies here can make optimal use of them. Microsoft’s technology and KPN’s market knowledge come together to form a combined force from which more total solutions will emerge and that can completely unburden KPN and Microsoft customers.

Making applications such as Modern Workplace, Azure and Microsoft Teams available for customers in combination with Teams Calling will improve the way in which people today and in the future live and work. A key element of the partnership is joint innovation, which will lead to a joint market approach with solutions for promising industries, such as agriculture, production and health.
