A selection of the topics: fighting cyber crime, Awareness and human behavior, and the challenges surrounding cloud security.

The magazine is a reflection of the Dutch security community, with well-known security experts from the business sector and government. In addition to Ronald Prins, Inge Wetzer, and Erno Doorenspleet, among others NSCS director Hans de Vries, Floor Jansen of the Netherlands Police, and security expert Brenno de Winter give their views on various aspects of cyber security. For KPN Security, Cyber Security Perspectives fits within a broader strategy to facilitate knowledge sharing between IT and security professionals. In this context, KPN’s security branch also organizes NLSecure[ID], the annual event for the Dutch security community.

Working together against cyber crime
“We can only stand up against cyber criminality if we act together,” says Marcel van Oirschot, Executive Vice President at KPN Security. “For example, by exchanging information about incidents and the threat landscape with each other, and, of course, the best practices for robust security.” “In this magazine, the experts provide solutions to this complex problem,” continues Van Oirschot. “We hope that security professionals can apply the insights within their own organization. This is how we make the Netherlands safer together.”
