KPN recognized as the strongest Dutch brand

Summary

We can call ourselves the strongest brand in The Netherlands, an accolade that we are proud of. This became clear from the latest report from Brand Finance, a leading independent consultancy.

With a BSI score (Brand Strength Index) of 85.2 out of 100, and a corresponding AAA brand strength, KPN has earned the title of strongest brand in The Netherlands. Despite the challenges in the telecoms sector, with a brand value of € 3.1 billion, we’ve managed to stay ahead of the competition through our strategic focus on organic and sustainable growth, according to Brand Finance. Shell is the most valuable Dutch brand this year, but KPN achieved the highest equivalent rating in the Dutch telecom sector.

Reliable and reputable brand

According to Brand Finance, we have established ourselves as a reliable and reputable brand in the minds of consumers by holding onto our goal of installing and simplifying the infrastructure of the future and by accelerating digitalization. This is a great confirmation of the fact that we are on the right track with the 2019-2021 strategy.

David Haigh, CEO van Brand Finance explains: 'KPN is going to have a successful year, not least because the ground-breaking project to develop quantum internet is likely to result in huge changes in the telecoms sector. In a time of increasing concern about online privacy, KPN’s promise to develop a more secure online model will help them to stay ahead.'
