Final approval for sale E-Plus

Summary

Royal KPN N.V. has been informed that the European Commission has unconditionally approved the sale of E-Plus to Telefónica Deutschland.

On 2 July 2014, the European Commission conditionally approved this transaction. The condition precedent has been fulfilled now that Telefónica Deutschland’s mobile bitstream access agreement with Drillisch has been accepted by the European Commission. Completion of the sale of E-Plus is expected in the third quarter of 2014.
